Volunteer in Nepal, placed by Nepalis, rooted in real communities

Volunteer placements, internships & charity treks — designed by Nepalis, for people who want to do more than visit.

Our Organization / Story

Deep roots in Nepali communities since 2004.

TravAction Nepal has been placing volunteers in Nepal communities since 2004 — no international middlemen, no inflated program fees, no detached coordinators halfway across the world.

We're a locally-run organization based in Kathmandu. Our team knows these schools, these families, and these projects personally. When you volunteer with us, your time and money stay where they belong: on the ground, in Nepal.

Family Volunteering
Family Volunteering
Family Volunteering is for children, to visit a country different from theirs brings a lot of new ideas and views of the world. They learn what another part of the world looks like, with all its challenges. But they will also learn how people are no different from them.
